Typography Series v2
Project –
A typography series of
illustrated poster prints.
Client –
Self initiated
'Imagination is more important than knowledge' is part two in a typography series that I illustrate to show that typography can be worked into illustration, hand in hand. Albert Einstein was the inspiration behind this piece, with his famous quote to spring creativity off of and a tribute to the man.
The whole process of starting this series was to keep my typography skills alive and put them in a place where they can be collected.

'Imagination is more important than knowledge' is part two in a typography series that I illustrate to show that typography can be worked into illustration, hand in hand. This was made for the purpose of designing hand made fonts and patten work. This was done by illustrating the words how they are pronounced and spoken, so for example if the word is said boldly or shouted it is illustrated big and 3D. The same way if a word was said politely or delinquently the font would be smooth, soft and free flowing.
The next step was to illustrate images to go with the typography, to represent what was being said.
The whole process of starting this series was to keep my typography skills alive and put them in a place where they can be collected.
