and printed textures inspired by the George
Orwell novel "1984"

1984 is inspired by the George Orwell novel "1984" and is a portrayal of pervasive government surveillance and control, and government's increasing encroachment on the rights of the individual.
This poster was created with hand drawn patterns and printed textures. Also created were geometric shape patterns which have the effect of optical illusion. An A3 print of 1984 will be available soon in the shop.
It will be printed on Hahnemuhle Photorag At 308g.s.m. and is a heavy art
paper, with a fibrous finish. The paper softens the image and mutes the colours giving a watercolour feel to the final image.
